my pregnancy: 32 weeks
wow! i truly can't believe that we are at the 32 week mark of our pregnancy, it feels like just yesterday we found out we were expecting! i have to admit, i had every intention of writing regular pregnancy posts, but between my other blogs posts, bouts of nesting, day to day life and extreme fatigue, it just didn't seem to happen that way. but here i am! sharing my latest photos and inviting you into some of the oh so fun parts of being pregnant ;)
as far as my pregnancy goes, i don't really have a lot to complain about. the first trimester consisted of 'morning sickness' which was more like 'all day sickness' but around the 14 week mark, it completely vanished. second and third trimester; extreme fatigue. i was working my full time job up until the end of december and it was so difficult to get through the days. i found myself napping on my lunch hour, coming home, making dinner, then going straight to bed. i felt pretty useless to say the least. now that i am at home, i am still sleeping a lot, but because i am not working a 9-5 i am finding a lot more time to blog and nest before little hendrik arrives. yes! he has a name. just incase you missed my post, you can see it all here.
my body has changed SO much; more than i expected. before we even had confirmation that we were pregnant, my breasts doubled in size. thankfully, that haven't grown much since then, but from an average b cup, to a dd cup, i found it to be quite uncomfortable. as far of the rest of my body, i have put on 30 pounds so far and my thighs and hips have grown, but all worth it for this little guy! a nice perk of having a spring baby is that we can spend time outside walking and getting a little bit of exercise soon after he is born. i am determined to get back my body!
i promise i will do a few more posts in the next two months before hendrik arrives! in the meantime, any one have any words of wisdom as we approach this little guys arrival?
