minimalist office inspiration
surprise! we live in a small space. it's great, but you definitely need to get creative when it comes to design/decor. we have an open concept living space and no real defined area to have an office, so i'm looking for ideas for defining a small area into an office space. here are some inspiration grabs i've gathered.
second post in, i think you can see that i am a minimalist when is comes to design and colour. personally, i love the addition of adding extreme contrast (the black accessories) and texture (the area rug) to add character and personality to the very white design. this is actually larger of a space than i have to work with in our condo, but it's on track of what i am hoping to create.
this design makes me have all the feels! note the storage underneath the desk (again, imperative for that small space design) i am loving the minimal decor and functionality on the desk. computer, clock, light, and place to put away those papers. i also love this chair, i would also add the cushion, for both comfort and texture. i do think this needs a bit more colour though, on to the next picture for some inspiration in that department.
here i get that clean white look with the addition of neutral/natural tones in the wood and greens on the desk. design wise, i'm loving the wall storage. it's a good way to keep the functionality without comprising the design.
