local love: an afternoon of makeup with glam artistry
this is the first of my series on local love. i hear so often from residents of edmonton that there is "nothing to do" and it truly blows my mind. if i had the time i know i could experience something new on the weekly in this city!
so my focus for this local love post is Gretzie Parth, the woman behind Gretzie Parth Makeup Artist. i luckily found this young lady through referral for my wedding day makeup. after getting a few trials done for my wedding, i was feeling really defeated with the process and sad that i may not feel my best on one of the most important days of my life, then came Gretzie. after my trial, only 5 weeks before my wedding, i shed tears of happiness; i finally felt beautiful with her makeup application. i knew she was the perfect person for my wedding day. gretzie and i became friendly and she told me about a joint partnership with aimee parker called Glam Artistry where two certified makeup artists teamed up to help their clients achieve a flawless makeup look at home, by themselves. i immediately was happy to say that i would attend and without question, was so happy that i did. here is a look into the three hour class that was held.
my final review; if you are one, looking for something to do in the city, attend this class. even if you're not big into makeup, or do not think that you are, it's a fun way to experience something new with a friend on your weekend. two, the class was excellent and worth every penny. i took so much valuable information for my every day makeup. thanks so much to these ladies.
