minimalist christmas decor inspiration
YAY! it's the christmas season!! something new to learn about me, i absolutely LOVE christmas. the spirit, the smells, the music, the love, and of course, the decor! here are a few things i pulled together to give myself (and you!) some inspiration for your decorating this season.
i love the simplicity of this! and you probably have a vase laying around, and a spruce tree in your yard that you can snip to achieve this look.
a full green wreath makes a big statement without being too loud. i love this and will be making myself one for the holidays!
although this tree looks amazing as is, it's a little bare for my taste, but what i LOVE is that it's a real tree. we've never had one in our home before, so this year the hubby and i decided we would do it. not only does it look amazing and full, it brings that amazing outdoor smell, indoors.
i find most wrapping paper to be on the cheesy side (sorry) i love this look. i've done it before, so simple and beautiful. last year i purchased my black paper at michaels and it was a hit!
okay, so i don't have a fireplace, but if i did, i would steal this idea! but mostly what i pull from this image is again, the minimalist decor, and the muted colours. i may do something like this on our feature wall in our dining area. i'll keep you posted.
thanks everyone for visiting! hope i was able to give you some inspiration for your christmas decor. xo
